Fantastic Standard Poodle

Fia is the fourth standard poodle that our family has owned, but our first from Heartland Classics. She is absolutely wonderful and we will never purchase dogs from anywhere else again. They are very professional and do a great job of keeping you updated with pictures, etc... while you wait for your little one to be old enough to come home. The work that they do with the puppies to get them used to all kinds of environmental stimuli really pays off - Fia is completely unshakable! From the very beginning, she did not mind getting her hair cut, nails trimmed, bathed, teeth brushed, etc... and if you have ever owned poodles you know this is a big deal! Standards can sometimes be high strung, but Fia is very calm, even-tempered, and was easy to train. She loves to play and bounce, but never chews on things in the house if she gets bored. At almost a year old now, she is a little bit bigger than we thought she would be, but absolutely beautiful. She has great posture, great lines, and a beautiful prancing gait. She loves children and is very gentle with them, as well as small and elderly dogs and cats. Thank you for helping me find my best friend!
