Could not be happier.

A year and a half after being widowed, I was in need of a happy loving companion. We had had Golden Retrievers before and they had made wonderful companions for our only child growing up, but I needed a dog I was not allergic to. After doing extensive research and talking with my doctors I decided on a Wheaten Terrier. This past January I picked Bailey (aka Muffy) up from Heartland and could not be happier. Bailey is a happy lively dog who enchants everyone she meets. I have had zero health issues with her. She has her own mind and can be a little stubborn, but it can be overcome with training. She loves other dogs and children. As instructed by Barb and others her coat requires nearly daily care, but she does not mind her comb outs or weekly baths. Her groomer thinks she is wonderfully during haircuts. Bailey attends doggie daycare when I am at work. They staff there thinks she is the most wonderful babysitter for the new puppies. They keep telling me she needs a puppy of her own. If I ever considered another I would certainly return to Heartland. Bailey has been the best!
