Louie, aka Sawyer, our first PBGV

We picked up Louie at the Salt Lake CIty Airport on April 15, after his long journey via airplane from Nebraska. We guessed that he had been in the crate for at least 8 hrs and much to our surprise, he was completely dry. The minute we found him some lawn, he relieved himself. At almost 6 months, he is a bundle of joy. We have had large dogs previously, Gordon and English Setters, and as we just retired, we wanted a dog a bit smaller. Louie is perfect. In the few months we have had him, his life has been filled with all sorts of experiences and he had been up for every one of them. Those include: * Traveling to Lake Powell and Grande Canyon in our RV. * Camping in a tent in the mountains. * Surviving the 100 degree plus temperatures of St George, Utah. * Spending a week on a lake and a boat. * Falling in the lake 3 times his first day, then learning to swim on day 3. * Completing Puppy Training. * 99% potty trained. * Has slept all night since his first night with us. * Rarely barks. * Turns in a gremlin every night from 7-830 pm, racing through the house, biting me....then at 830 he crashes. * Multiple trips on our ATV, which he loves. We LOVE this breed and Louie very much. I am so glad we worked with Barb and Heartland to get Louie.
